I have been driving for a couple of years with a broken ac/heater in a 2009 Saturn. About 3 weeks ago on a warm day, hot air started coming out of the vents even while the knobs were in the off position. The vents were hot to the touch. After a relative of mine had Birdsong fix engine issues on their car, which was older than my car. I decided to see what they could do for my car. They took on the challenge of finding parts for the 2009 Saturn, which I'm sure wasn't easy. The ac/heater is working wonderfully now, and with summer just around the corner, not a moment too soon! I will continue to take my car to Birdsong Automotive for future repairs or as long as they can find parts. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

It is not often that I am impressed enough with a business that I am compelled to write a review, but Brad and Mike?? are well deserving of this recognition. We were touring throughout the U.S. and as luck would have it on a Friday afternoon our bus overheated a couple times. We had a show that night in Lubbock but had to leave immediately the next morning to make the next venue. Brad spent considerable time on the phone with me while traveling going over the issue that would help diagnose the cause. Although it was a Friday and after closing, he told me to come over and he would take a look. I have worked with many mechanics and auto service centers in the past. I couldn't help to be overly impressed with Brads willingness to help when we were in a tough situation on a Friday night. His professionalism, knowledge of the vehicle and motor, patience, explanation of the cause and thorough review and tests were much more than I could have expected. He gave us a good understanding of the issue and the confidence to continue on the tour. Totally impressed. Thanks Brad for going over and beyond!

Been using Birdsong for repairs and oil changes... On a SATURDAY night, just before 8:00 P.M., I sent an email to the shop asking for a favor for a relative... I expected a reply the following week...BUT NO...Brad Birdsong replied in less than 10 minutes... He said "Sure" about helping me out... On a side note...the shop floor would be a nice, clean place to have a picnic...but...clear it with Brad first...

Moved to Lubbock from out of state in 2022. Luckily we didn't have any major issues with out vehicles till recently. Brought them my truck in August for a no start issue. Like the old saying goes it stopped acting up so they weren't able to diagnose at that time. Last week I ran into the same issue. Even though I was past the 30 day window for the diagnostic they still waived the fee for me. Glad we found a local mechanic we can trust! We will see y'all again for all our future maintenance.
